Originally from Southern California, Sasha developed a love for photography from an early age. He spent most of his time photographing his adventures in surfing, skateboarding, and camping throughout the deserts and beaches of Baja. After moving to LA, and thanks to the advice of the late Bob Richardson, Sasha went to London to begin working for the cutting edge British magazines. In 2001, the then photo editor of Dazed & Confused magazine, Emma Reeves, gave him his first fashion story. From here things progressed quickly and Sasha soon landed his first advertising campaign, for H&M. Today Sasha splits his time between Los Angeles and New York. He is known for his loose, natural, and realistic style of photography. His pictures often reference his Californian background and his love for 60’s & 70’s Rock culture.
